Chrono Trigger on the SNES was one of the greatest 16-Bit RPG's ever. Many people have fond memories of the Final Fantasy series as well as Earthbound, Secret of Mana etc., but Chrono Trigger is one of my all time favorites. Utilizing many of the popular features of the time such as overhead world maps, turn based combat and cool music and characters, Chrono Trigger has spawned several sequels as well as developed an intense following from dedicated RPG'ers across the world. One of the cool unique features in this game is the ability to travel through time in the seven different areas of the world. In addition to the unique features, this was one of the first games to offer over 10 different endings (13 in total I believe).
If you can get your hands on Chrono Trigger you should definitely buy it. this was and is a great RPG!
sxj, yeah, this was one of my favorite RPG's of all time. I actually sold my copy on Amazon last year and am likely to try and get another soon.
