I wanted to take a quick post to mention that 8-Bit Memoirs 2.0 is undergoing a bit of a "re-working". The new blog will be focusing primarily on gaming experiences as well as other gaming related media that captures my eye. As always, that blog will not contain any advertisements of any kind unlike this blog which still holds a couple of contracts.
With that said, I'll be adding 2.0 to a few databases and blog exchanges to help build SEO as well as word of mouth. If you haven't made your way over to the new site, I'd definitely recommend checking it out and even following it (wink wink). Anyway, thanks again for stopping in over the last six months!

I've never had a problem with the ads on this blog, because I'm a writer and like most writer I want to one day make my living doing that, so I don't begrudge a single person getting paid.
However, I like the idea of giving both blogs a distinct feel and agenda. That way both can be a must-read independant of each other.

Thanks for the support! I have been wanting to put together a new blog that was not only free of advertising, but held a more personal feel as opposed to the more streamlined feel here.
As for the writing contracts, Blue Nile has been supporting me for a while and has been good enough to space out their posts as to not saturate this blog.
